I've currently got Mweb 10 mb uncapped, were paying R999 a month for that. No problems with mweb but i thought i'd look at other ISP prices and i saw Openweb has uncapped plus 10mb for R549 per month which prioritizes gaming and streaming which is exactly what i want.

Just wondering if there's any other openweb users is it a good isp choice?

Yes they are. Low user base -> means better contention ratio. Try them, you will be surprised. Don't let the haters get to you mate :)

No.

Seriously, are your only choices the 2 worst ISPs?

i asked a simple question, i never said i had 2 choices.I asked if openweb was a good choice. Some people these days got some serious mental problems on the internet, reading is a basic skill who knew it could be so hard.

It's a yes or no question

I comprehend just fine ;). Plenty of stats on this very site/forum to backup my statement.

6.52 and 6.71. If you ask me, that's pretty good. There's no baseline.

Those scores are based on opinions and not facts. These scores mean nothing - the same for every other article produced by this spam-bot fake news site.

OP don't let the shills red-pill you with their opinions. It's all about user experience and what your experience is. Don't let the art majors get to you mate.

ok so so now im looking at axxess they don't really describe their packages very well is the premium uncapped shaped or not price seems too good to be unshaped

Where do people even hear about OpenWeb?

I only know they exist because of the constant hatred I see here.

I'd say find an ISP that works for your needs. Everyone raved about Afrihost but every time I tried them it's been rubbish.

I've had good experiences with Web Africa and I'm currently with Vox which has been excellent. I've also given up on uncapped accounts a long time ago and prefer high capped accounts.

Can't say much for OpenWeb these days, used them ages ago and personally didn't have performance issues but just too much drama and they're no longer active on the forum so I moved. CrystalWeb is another that seems to be always be surrounded by some sort of drama on the forum so I prefer to stay with companies that have the least amount of drama surrounding them :D

Have used Openweb (a while ago) and Afrihost. Also tried uncapped, but stick with capped as performance is better in my experience too.

There has been loads of poop reported on here about Openweb, but I have to be honest, I used them for a little while and didn't have any issues. That being said, I used a capped account, iirc most problems were with shaping uncapped and billing...

Yea, there's nothing wrong about their capped accounts, all the drama is regarding their uncapped accounts.
