Yes, Cause we all live in a world where you can decide what you want to eat.

Also, Banana on a pizza works, it gets sweet...
Ham, pineapple and banana. Otherwise known as the Hawaiian pizza.

For me it's not about whether it is on a pizza or not. I just don't like mixing savoury and sweet. Don't like sweet bastings or anything that makes food I expect to be salty taste like pudding.

People are weird. Olives on the other hand don’t belong anywhere. It’s not food.

Pizza with olives is the ultimate crime imo.

I love how americans take everything the italians do and do it better:
1) Italian Pasta -- oh lets skimp on the sauce and cheese. American Pasta - hold my spatula and watch this.
2) Italian Pizza -- oh, you are only allowed minor list of items on a pizza and hold off on too much cheese. American Pizza- hold my pizza peel. Do you want pine-apple? Double cheese? Sausage crust? double-layered with cream cheese?

That is why America is the #1 economy in the world. Innovation.

Sweet and savoury go very well together. Ever tried sweet and salty popcorn? Sweet and sour dishes? Having a bite of sweetness with something savoury is so satisfying. Like adding chutney to curry.

Its tolerable if it is the only piece left the next morning.

Not my favourite, but it can go, Wife and Kids like it, but would prefer that Pineapple was not part of a Pizza, Olives on the other hand, there can not be enough.

Not only is it acceptable, it is a requirement. My ideal pizza is Ham, Pineapple, Banana and Mushrooms with a strong tomato base. I used to eat salami instead of ham, but over time, I've built up resistance to the saltiness of the salami.
Other than that, pineapple goes great with any tomato, bbq, sweet-n-sour, chutney and tikka-based pizzas.

I once made a pizza using cooked sheeps head curry / pineapple / watermelon and pomegrenate.

Was a huge hit.

Arguing over what belongs on a pizza is as pointless as arguing what belongs on a slice of bread.
