Because I don't have LTE A coverage in my area but I do have normal LTE coverage can I still get the off peak unlimited data deal?

Yes afaik Rain is LTE-A but LTE-A is backwards compatible with LTE. I don't know what you mean by only having LTE coverage. Rain provides LTE-A coverage unless your device only has LTE.

The question is whether you have rain coverage. Having LTE-A coverage from Telkom, for example, is irrelevant if you want to connect to rain. Have you looked on the rain coverage map?

Right, didn't think he might be mistaking the coverage for Rain. Does anybody know what Rain's network ID is?

Weird I can't find it. Can only get 65519 and 65538 in addition to the other 4 networks.
Was joking about the Rain God...

This is mine:

CELL_ID: 102919459
RSRQ: -5dB
RSRP: -108dBm
SINR: 3dB
PLMN: 65519

This is confusing but when entering my address my location is blue on the map does this mean I have coverage?

If it means I have coverage do they have an option of purchasing a router aswell? Want to get rid of my Adsl.

Is Rain still restricted to specific routers? I have a Huawei B593 router which only supports LTE.

Any chance of it working?

Mobile Rain should work with that router. Fixed I'm not sure.

Oh, I didn't know there was both a mobile and fixed option. In all likelihood it's the fixed option I'd be considering.
In that case I think you can only use the B315 or B618

Don't quote me on this, maybe @cavedog will know.

Is the unlimited off-peak data for R250 only available on Fixed?
No that is mobile. Fixed you can only buy from resellers like Afrihost. But apparently selling fixed is coming to an end.

Mobile is good value for money during the off-peak times.

I got the E5573 and the range is just about good enough in an open room. So don't expect it to cover your house.
