It`s actually not broken, this is just how it works these days.

I think there should be mods that are NS watchdogs. As soon as they see something about the NS it should be deleted.

This moaning about people talking about the IS news server, is quite frankly, complete and utter bull ****. The IS news server is not yours. It never has been, and never will be. It is a public and free service offered to their subscribers by IS. Just think, how did you find the server? Probably 90% of you bitching about it found it through these very forums...

I don't know what the excitement about their news server is, I have never managed to download anything at more than 3 bytes/second from it, so I can't figure out how anybody else has ever even managed to use it.

yea you're right, the news server is totally useless nowadays, people are better off downloading from somewhere else.

yeah, true, the server is not even worth the time spent finding a decent client to use it this past year.

Still, I'll always remember those days of downloading at 50K+ with fondness. R.I.P. IS NNTP
