We didnt have any network problems yesterday, please advice me if you're still experiencing problems.

I'm having problems today. Constant disconnects coupled with high latencies = terrible interwebs. I live in Boksburg, can you please check if there is a problem with the tower.

Edit: Tracert to war3.co.za(server is hosted in capetown)

Latencies seem to be normal again but still getting disconnected :/

Our network guys are checking, they say this could be due to bad weather.

I didnt notice any problems this weekend, but I know we had bad weather here in Roodepoort.

Browsing has been nearly impossible since yesterday afternoon. Can't even complete a speedtest, however I get about 5KB/s download speed at the moment... Constant disconnections, high latencies, the works.

Not exactly an enjoyable experience...

Yeah, I've got the same problems. Much slower than usual.
Now it seems like international is down as well =/
I don't buy the "bad weather" response, as I've had good connectivity and speed in much worse weather conditions. Something else is amiss!

BTW, I'm in Faerie Glen

Cannot browse many sites. Battled to login to mybroadband. Iburst helpdesk just plays dong, dong dong dong, ding dong over and over again. What a pathetic company they have become.
Iburst can surely not get any worse. So cash-strapped I cannot buy vodacom modem and say goodbye to Iburst for good. Anyone throwing out 3G modem? :-D

Something is definitely wrong somewhere.

I don't get disconnected, but browsing is inconsistent. Even getting onto the iBurst website was a drag.

I have to refresh a couple of pages and I've disconnected the modem for longer than 10 minutes, but it changes nothing.

And no, I'm not capped.

The weather NEVER effects my connection :/

I'm not getting disconnected anymore but the speeds are kind useless.

Lucky you, if there is a fart of thunder within earshot I watch as my light goes from green to yellow, then maybe orange and then back again, it's like a techno party, if the lights were only brighter ;)

Seems to be working okay now.

Thanks for the info/update.

Im getting bad latency on WoW tonight, dunno what up. iBurst networks seems to be showing huge latencies on first 4 hops.

Hi,

just signed up to say that i have been having major problems with iburst the last couple of days - veeery slow browsing, downloads seem to sputter out often.

The iburst website claims they had a "Critical Peer Degredation", but they say it is resolved, and the network status page says everything is OK. Its slightly better today but not nearly what is should be.

anyone else having issues?

Last night when I went to be I left my pc on and connected to the net so my windows could update and my connection hasn't disconnected yet so I thinks its safe to assume that my problem is gone.

As for speeds, I'm capped now so I cant test
