No im not talking about the ps4 having the latest radeon. I'm talking about pc gamers having to keep up with the latest gfx cards to play the latest games. Whereas on a console a game which comes out a couple years down the line will still run smooth. Example ps3 games still play lekker many years later on the same hardware. Console optimisation eliminates the constant need for upgrades
valid points on the graphics card part but you can just turn down something unimportant in the graphics option menu to boost performance.
not so much on the console optimization part though as its purely the developers problem to make sure the game is running smoothly on the console, so if your GTA 5 is laggy when reaching the forest or whatever, there is jack focol you can do to fix it unless they bring out a patch ?!
Either way , this console and pc war has been raging for years. moral of the story : different strokes for different folks.
each device has its plus and minuses. IF you had both you would understand it better. For me it was the ps3 game updates that killed me even with some proxies to make it faster etc. I felt so constricted and locked in.
perhaps a bit to hardcore for the ps3 , idk ? i do miss jamming gta 5 late night online and ninokuni + LBP2
