The lazier you act the lazier you become and the easier it is say i just cannot bring myself to do this.

I very good at doing things. I'm just not good at starting things.

Lie down, close your eyes and visualise yourself doing the task. The moment you feel like doing the task, get up immediately and proceed to do the task. If you wait too long once you've built up the willpower to do the task, you will again lose the willpower.

lol, I think I have a weird form of ADD... I just do what ever pops into my head. I'll study maths for 8 hours, then realize it's boring, then play games, stuff around come back to maths... all in the mean time I was actually hoping to wash my car... :(

So let me get this right, you procrastinate to cure your procrastination?

Try getting a pomodoro app for your phone. It helps a little to get started and keep going. Also, as an alternative, try and put a specific limit on your procrastination. Time it, for say 25 minutes, and then keep reminding your self that in a few minutes you have to get going. Remove distractions. Close your browser down. Close e-mail if you have to. And in 25 minutes, pick up the thing that you're supposed to be doing and start doing it.

I've procrastinated for many months before, this lead to a lower quality of lifestyle and regrets which is one cure that "forces" u to change.
The other is if the person starts making gradual changes also realising the benefits & opportunities of avoiding procrastination are more valuable than doing nothing/giving up.

Yep easy cure, don't even think of doing anything and then you don't have any chores to do so..... in essence no procrastination

It's quite simple actually, get your priorities straight.

If you can afford to procrastinate then it obviously isn't very important. (Not yet in any case)

Why put off till tomorrow what you can put off altogether? Just cross EVERYTHING off your list, and do absolutely nothing. When the pain of nonaction becomes great enough you will be cured.
