Lol, DSTV isn't in full HD at all, as far as I'm aware it's still sub 720p. If you aren't able to find HD content on TPB that speaks more to your inability to search than anything else
 
When I was young ...

When I was young there used to be this thing called Television. It's like bittorrent, but real-time. Everyone in the whole country would download the same movies and everything. There were only like 4 different things you could watch. Instead of a hard disk, you used a thing called a VCR, and your movies would get more and more pixellated over time (you know, like JPEG artefacts). It was really popular. I think it was because it was analogue.

The History channel has just morphed into a Auction/Storage/Pawn channel, I mean how or wtf???

If only the Rugby bosses would strike a deal with some online provider, that would liberate me from this hell.
 
Well, I have the HD PVR (unfortunately the Explora does not work in my complex, old system we have) and there are so many recordings waiting for me, will take a while to watch all of it.

And that's how I like my TV - I choose what to watch, when to watch. Well, except for the Sunday 8 pm movie. :)

So... A less efficient on demand system than Netflix offers at a fraction of the cost that DSTV asks.

Robbie, I respected you for supporting TM and winning people over from the old "big boys" (vodascum and MTN). Now you do the opposite, support DSTV rather than switching over to the cheaper, more effective alternative.

Did that gold S5 get into your mind and mess around with the arrangements?

Lol. What's an SABC? I honestly didn't even bother to set up those channels when I installed my new TV.

But yeah, I think one can get the cricket matches from other sources. Not really my cup of tea, but if I remember correctly there are a couple of options for streaming (in actual full HD nogal, if your line is up to the task naturally).

I really like my sport, so for me DSTV is outstanding.

Had SkyHD when I lived in the UK, but it's nowhere near what's been offered on DSTV. Maybe that's why I can appreciate DSTV so much? Must be.

Anyway, there's more than enough movies to watch and record (I see The Wolf of Wall Street is showing on channel 103 now) and DSTV Catch Up and Box Office are good value-add.

It really works for me.

And that's exactly the sad part to me. The sport monopoly they have here.
