Definitely a pricing error. The cost price ex. VAT is already double that.

One of the pricelists must've been borked ;) .

Thier was a mistake with Frontosa's pricelist, do not get excited it is not a kit it is a single DDR3 module. Frontosa just felt like calling it a kit.

surely if you place an order, and only receive one module, then you can demand for a kit of 2, because other wise that's false advertising etc.

Not at all, terms and conditions with the suppliers and all online stores include these lovely little letters E&OE, Errors and Omissions Excepted, in legal terms its translates into, "If we **** up, its not our fault" so teh best you would get is a refund.

Also with Frontosa, not always the best idea to try and mess with them, a few years ago i heard, (i accept no responsibility for the accuracy of this), that Frontosa had made a mistake with an order, in the grand scheme not really a big 1, they had to transfer a product between branches and some mix up delayed the process by just under a week. The client got so anal about it that he went an posted a complaint on Hellopeter as he was not willing to accept the delay. As the story goes, frontosa immediately canceled his account and refused to deliver his last order, unfortunately the idiot also owned a computer shop and with Frontosa as 1 of the biggest suppliers carrying numerous brands that other supplier do not he ended up closing his doors just because he was a ****!!!.
 
Ah well, i'm still waiting for my order to get "processed". Will update later wrt whether or not it's a mistake on the site.

/sometime last year landmark had the super talent 256GB SSD at just under 1k, placed an order and then received an email from andy saying that the price was supposed to be 10k :rolleyes:

Alot of these online stores use the product list code from the supplier. If you look at the code "ME-C2G3V13C9" on the Sybaritic page and match it with the Frontosa list you'll find this description "Corsair VS2GB1333D3 , XMS 3 , with heatsink , 2Gb/2048mb kit , ddr3-1333 ( PC3-10666 ) , CL9 , 1.6v - 240pin - lifetime warranty".

Exactly 1 line down the price list is this description "Corsair TW3X4G1333C9 , XMS 3 , with heatsink , 2 x 2Gb/2048mb kit , ddr3-1333 ( PC3-10666 ) , CL9 , 1.6v - 240pin - lifetime warranty".

Someone at Sybaritic f'd up on the copy-n-paste. :)

The code is correct, the price is correct, the description is wrong. The description belongs to product code "ME-C2G3X13X9x2" (http://www.sybaritic.co.za/store/product_info.php?products_id=17567) which as you can see is the exact same, but this time correct, description.

You're going to have to return it unless you'll just want a 2GB stick of RAM.
