Getting 2 kbs on alt binz and 999 ping on eu servers ( 200 locally )

Most webpages dont even load and when they do its 10 minutes later, anyone that can help?

welcome to the joy of IS 4mb uncapped, im guessing youre on lite, and from what you posted youve been 1 Star rated....meaning that you are throttled down to 1kb/s, making the advertised "uncapped" IS product false and faulty, ive had many issues with this exact problem, there is nothing your ISP can do, the only way to improve your internet speed will be not to use the net for the next two to three days so that you may possibly fall out of 1 star rating, i personally think this is false advertising it would be fine if the 1 star rating was to 10 or 15 kb/s as you would still be able to access mail and do work etc, but to 1kb/s the advertised term of uncapped is a lie.

Also remember that Seacom is still down, which would mean that ALL international stuff WILL BE SLOW.
Just because a website ends with .co.za does not mean that they're hosted in SA either.

Lastly, uncached content on the IS news (NZB) server WILL BE SLOW too. Try downloading like popular series to see if the speed isn't better.

Side note : Ive been thinking about swapping to MWEB will it be worth it? Ive heard they dont throttle browsing and ive seen my friends ( who are also mweb) get very good pings to eu / local

if youve been 1 star rated by IS then i would imagine with the same usage on Mweb you will be throttled quite severly, let us know how it turns out, maybe mwebs 4mb uncapped lite packages are better?
