Is Uniforum/Coza down for anyone else?

Was down for about 20 min for me. Now is up.

Still down for me - has been the whole morning and people say when they mail me from Gmail to my .co.za domain it bounces back...

Anyone else having this issue and would it be related to the above?

Must be routing issues. Up for me, but it did go down for 20 min.

Hi,

They have been down since 19:00 last night on IPV4.
IPV6 has been up 100%

EDIT: it's been routing problems with their connection to JINX.
Any traffic coming over their MTN link has been fine (so traffic from IS for example).

Routing Issues Through JINX - 21 May 2013
[ Tue, 21 May 2013 05:15:12 GMT ]

The Registry is currently experiencing routing issues through JINX. Some registrars might suffer from down-time or connectivy issues due to this.

We are currently working to resolve the issue.

Our apologies for any inconvenience caused during this period.

There seems to be big issues their epp system is down as well.

Ok cool - when I try to do an mx lookup for my .co.za domain on www.mxtoolbox.com it times out trying to resolve the MX record for that domain. And no on outside of SA can email me, also not from Gmail, Yahoo etc etc. Would it be related to the routing problems to JINX?

GoofySmurf, it seems to be an IPV4 issue as our EPP platform runs on IPV6 and it's up & running

Looks like you have some other issue. Not due to this outage.

Keegan, are you sure, 'cause I've been running the same mail system for years, and the DNS is working, I get a lot of mail today from lots of people, but they are all based in SA. Whenever there's someone trying to mail from an international platform, like Gmail, they get the "Technical details of permanent failure: DNS Error: Domain name not found" error message.

When I do an mx lookup locally, it's perfect for that domain, when I do a lookup for a mx record internationally, it states that the domain name was not found.

I checked on .co.za and the domain is fully paid up and working.

The website for the domain is also up and running, but when I try to access the website from a VSP located overseas, the website appears to be down.

Hi Keegan,

Is your domain on legacy and on count 2?
If so it would have been suspended last night as Uniforum has started suspending legacy domains above count 2.
