Isabel Jones dies

A great loss for SA consumers. She did alot of good. Condolences to her family and friends.
 
Sad. She was a little spitfire. Wished many times I had her by my side when I encounter atrocious service.

Jones was a 'consumer champion'

Asked his mother's age at the time of her death, Jones said: "I can't tell you that.

"For her it was the equivalent of a state secret. She would still kill me if I told you," he said, adding that she was merely "mature".

However, it is understood that Jones was born on May 31 1935 and was 72-years-old.

I loved her shows (back in the day :D), sad to hear she'll no longer be giving companies hell. RIP
 
yeah, sad to see her go. I always used to watch in amazement, thinking she's like someones crazy malevolent mother - kept waiting for some p'd off guy to break her nose :)
That said, she was a longtime part of the landscape in SA.. sad that she's gone.
She was a crazy d1ck at times, but she was 'our' crazy d1ck - and always fun to watch.

And to avoid angering certain people, I won't suggest that she be dug up, stuffed and placed on a pedestal at the entrance to Gold Reef City, in a boxer pose with gloves on :P
