Island 'slowly disappearing'

I don't really see why. Most of SA will still be above water even if all the ice on the poles melt. CT and Durban and the like will obviously be influenced but it's not like the country's entire economy will grind to a stand still. Can't say the same for large parts of Europe and the US though, as New York, San Francisco, LA, etc. will be flooded. Sucks to be them.

What about Koeberg? Will they make a huge glass dome? :D

Well, all them peoples with "The Mountain" in their back yards, will lose their homes and so, will not drain our power supply. Insensitive I know, it's just the jealousy talking. :p:D

When the water starts rising, we must start finding ways of 'getting rid' of the excess sea water ;)

Only one way, Freeze it! O......wait isn't that what we think is stupid these days?... icebergs!?

All that and Jozi will have it's own port and real waterfront for a change.

Oh come on people, look on the bright side.

For instance my house in Kensington will be worth that much more as a beach-front property. :)
