ISP Praise Wall !!!

Props to MWEB - been using their 4mb/s uncapped service and so far it has been great. Just don't change your default account password to a password that is bigger than 8 characters. The website allows you to do it, but when you try use that to connect with your router it bombs. Just use the first 8 characters.
 
Running two capped accounts with Afrihost, great speeds, great pricing never had a problem, can strongly suggest them.
 
Upgraded to 4mbit on MWEB from 512k.

Pure...freaking...win.
 
Imagine, for their customer service and customer-centric approach to running a business.

Their accounts are IS based and everyone has read the issues people are having with the IS accounts, however I do not believe Imagine should be blamed for that!

The feedback received from them and their dedication to sorting these issues out for their customers, is second to none!
 
SAOL do it again, brilliant!!!

Well, I emailed Neethi late on Friday afternoon regarding a query with my account. She advised me she will make sure she gets back to me on Monday with a solution.

Today, I received an email from Neethi, without me even having to nag her about it, and she has found a solution to my problems! I am really grateful to Neethi and SAOL as a company for the brilliant support whenever I have needed it!!!!
 
I signed up with MWEB for their Business Uncapped solution on 4mbit.

They advised me that they had a high workload and that it'd take about two weeks before they could come around to deliver my router. Two weeks came and wouldn't you know it, an MWEB technician rocked up, on time and installed the router... The router required reconfiguration (I wanted the firewall disabled and switched to "Live IP" mode)... I phoned them and within minutes my request was fulfilled. I requested reverse DNS records to be assigned... and bang! reverse DNS records were assigned.

I am extremely happy! It's a fantastic, reliable connection with good support, well done MWEB.
 
Cybersmart FTW! They are really doing a good job offering a premium service (unshaped bandwidth) at a great price... and then there's all those extras like weekender, night rider etc to top it off!
Kudos to Laurie - He is the most dedicated, amazing and hard working person I have ever spoken to. Keep it up!
 
Big up to WA for keeping it real. They've taken much abuse for not joining the bandwagon and offering uncapped, buy you know what ...they're offering the cheapest per gig pricing with their titan accounts and i never have to worry about stupid shaping or what not. Performance is always top notch. I've tried loads of isp's, but WA consistently has the highest download speeds (full speed on 4mbit) on any protocol and the lowest pings.
 
ImagineIPS so far so good. i'm impressed with them and who they handle things.

But WebAfrica did always win, when it comes to support and service levels. so ++ for them. (ill be back WA, if mweb cant get their act sorted)
 
changed over to afrihost yesterday with no effort, i just orderd uncapped via the clientzone. was getting good speeds too. so far i am happy ( although i only have had it for 1 day)
