IT Workup

I agree @ITworkup has the right to defend themself airborne but what I don’t agree with is that everyone is jumping on their side only without this James guy having said his piece. It’s like being in a relationship with a person and things ending. You will always be the bad person in someone’s story. With everything there is always two sides and we are only hearing the one side. I am not challenging what @ITworkup is saying as they have full right. What I am challenging is that all we are hearing is one side of the story with their facts that they are posting that could be considered hearsay and not the other side.

airborne, let’s say we were involved in a car accident and I bumped into you and admitted my fault and this ended up in court. Now let’s say in court I suddenly appear wearing a neck brace and arm sling and bandages on my head and I say you intentionally reversed into me and I’m claiming it’s you that caused the accident. The judge will see me in a neck brace and arm sling and bandages and his immediate thought will be what? That I’m the victim because of how I appeared? My side of the story would be it was intentional from you. The judge now asks you for your side and all you can say is I bumped into you and admitted at the accident scene. Do you have witnesses to back up that I said that? No. What would the outcome be seeing as I was there looking like I was dragged through hell and you were in perfect health?

What I’m getting at is we only have one side of the story, where is the other side. 1 + 0 doesn’t not make 2 here.

I’m not trying to be the bad guy here. All I’m saying is at the end of the day with all this being said we are only hearing the one side.
Why not tell James to come tell his version of the story, you clearly know the guy?

The way James threw all the ITworkup customers under the bus by disabling the domain and hanging them out to dry did not reflect well on his intentions, this thread has had many distraught people trying to make sense of what happened. If James has been determined to do the right thing then why treat the innocent customers so poorly, it doesn't add up?

For someone who had pending orders this thread is important. But just wondering are there no legal means to compel the said James to hand back the domain to the company for the sake of processing pending customers orders or making refunds, without taking new orders till they resolve their dispute?

Well, now I’m almost 99% sure that you’re James' employee – Donald. What a coincidence that we sold you specifically the K1C 3D printer, and from your profile, it’s clear that you’re specifically interested in them and posting about them. And now you’re fiercely defending it. Could this really be just a coincidence? :)

Okay, now I’m 100% sure because all the dates match exactly when you bought it from us and announced here in the forums that you purchased this specific printer and when it's landed here in SA.
Doxing is illegal boet.

Doxing is revealing someone's address, phone number, email, or any related personal information if he is private person. You don't even know which Donald wrote about it to me. It was just a guess, but I see now that it might be right. I don't even know his surname, just a guess on the name, and you're calling it doxing :)

You are a dangerous imbecile. People should really stay away from your business

I've already heard such comments from James' friends, thanks for the advice.
Take the advice to heart.. You have done things in this thread that could be deemed borderline illegal but are also in bad taste for a business that operates very heavily on word of mouth and customer opinion.

Thank you all for your advice. We are leaving this account and profile. We wanted to help our clients and explain the truth about what happened. We wish you not to go through what we have experienced. There is no point in responding further; the whole truth has been told. We hope that all customers will either receive their products or get their money back.

Geez bro, chill.

It looks like the ITwork guy is facing quite a battle with these guys, revealing a persons name in relation to a business experience isn't doxing. Anyone can say I went to this establishment and dealt with "John" who works there and this is what transpired. He's getting near the line of doxing but not crossing it.

Ignore the trolls, they can be quite asinine around here :cautious:

You still have a responsibility to your customers and I think you have been fighting for them, which is good, James certainly doesn't seem to feel any sympathy for what are also his customers, if he was your partner in the business?
What precipitated James shutting the domain down and pushing your team out, we haven't heard that aspect as yet?

Yes, I admit that I would like to know the reason for the sudden domain shutdown and business disagreement.

I agree that there are 3 sides to every story, but so far the one side is the only side that's making semblance of sense, and providing previous customer assurance with regards to ongoing support.

The second side only has a vague notice on the domain.

So just from my side, you are doing the right thing by helping clients and all that but just tone back on some of the things, that is all. And that advice is largely to protect you and definitely not to protect the other side in this fight. You need to keep your nose squeaky clean as it were.

So they aren't a scam for any one with any doubts left. I still am never buying from a company that completely leaves me in the dark for days at a time. If you want to deal with bullshit like that be my guest. I called Tuesday, they said they found my order and would ship it that day. Its now Thursday and I just collected it from Courier Guy. So they aren't a scam just a bit shady.

I was contacted by CSSi this week re my order arriving, and went there to collect. So they are definitely still fulfilling orders. The only thing is if the warranty, if required, is it worth anything? My order was placed on the 12th of February and only fulfilled now.

So far we know orders placed on 12th Feb is the last orders that are still being fulfilled. This is most probably still the previous stuff that processed far enough of that orders to make it to cssi. At some point there will be a cut off. Was this the last shipment? Is there still shipments coming and and if so, does cssi know what's on those shipments. I assume or rather hope that when cssi can confirm that there no more shipments coming that they refund the last orders placed after the cutoff.

See @ITworkup post below or contact them on their new website Fenway.co.za regarding warranty, the guy is looking out for his customers.
If you have any issues with the warranty, email me at [email protected]. Since everything was purchased through our European suppliers, we can either get a refund or a replacement. We do this solely for our customers after experiencing such cynical behavior towards us from James and his CSSi company.

This stock was shipped by us from Europe. We have been doing everything possible to ensure you receive it and that all orders are fulfilled. Even while dealing with disputes with James, we never stopped providing and shipping services to our clients.

Also, Fenway.co.za is not down – it is fully operational and has never been down. You can check it here: www.Fenway.co.za.
It would be great if he could indicate what was the last date of orders him and his team was able to process so that we could have some kind of idea what could still be arriving at CSSi.
