IT Workup

I am going to share my ordeal.

Purchased an order for Intel arc A310 at ITworkup on the 17th of Feb. I did not receive any invoice via email. Luckily I have the order number, payfast mail confirmation as I paid using my debit card and several communications regarding the order status from Timothy Kuypers and Ulrich Ehlert from ITWorkup.

Now CSSI do not want to process my order or even locate the order as they do not have access to any of ITWORKUP systems and therefore can't find the invoice. Apparently CSSI do not have access to this database.

I did forward all confirmation emails from Timothy Kuypers and Ulrich Ehlert, along with payfast confirmation which has the order number and bank statement to prove the transaction has taken place. Till now they are not able to assist me because they dont have access to itworkup database.

These guys are not reliable and I wouldn't purchase any product from CSSI related companies in future.

Welp, doesn't look like I'm getting my order that I did on March 2nd (literally 2 days before all this went down FML).

@ITworkup I'm thinking about trying again through fenway.co.za but I'm obviously skeptical lol. Are you guys fully operational at this point in time? How long should I expect to wait to receive an order?

I would imagine it’s business as usual but just make sure you guys pay via debit or credit card so that your money is protected if anything should happen and in that case you can open a chargeback with your bank.

I would hope the so called Tech guy with a webstore would know how chargebacks work but it seems not.

Whoever the bank is the process is largely the same no matter who or where the payment gateway is and likewise who the retailer is, local or international. If the retailer can't provide proof to your bank that what was paid for was delivered within the agreed upon timeframe then the chargeback is processed and you get your money back. I've done a few chargebacks of payments that were done in international locations and they were refunded within days, the local chargebacks I've done actually took far longer, up to a few weeks.

This ^^ Chargebacks are done via your local bank/card issuer, the gateway does NOT have to be involved.

This is out of the experience ive had with our bank and with Payfast for example over the years.

yo whats up. Just my experience about it. Specifically with Yoco and Payfast. They Cant just pull the funds out of our account without evidence and without me providing evidence back. (iE FNB will go hey yes we see its transaction through Yoco.. they contact Yoco via their methods etc Yoco checks with me etc if i dont respond its good as gone on my end)

Its not impossible its just a hassle depending on factors it being small and again From my experience with our bank(s)

Dear Forum Members,

We acknowledge the comments, statements, and feedback received across various platforms, which have been duly noted and forwarded to our legal team for review.

Over the past week, our offices have been diligently supporting clients and addressing requests for information. However, attempts to collaborate with Edvinas, who retains control of critical data and resources, have been unsuccessful, impeding our ability to assist customers effectively. To mitigate this, we have allocated 5-7 staff members, supplemented by an additional freelance resource, working daily from 8 AM to approximately 10 PM.

We are pleased to report that, based on our estimates, approximately 200-250 orders have been successfully delivered or refunded within the last week. Furthermore, we are committed to addressing every outstanding request. For orders previously unattended by Edvinas, we have established direct communication with overseas vendors and partners, including CSSI’s international offices, to ensure continued support. We reaffirm our dedication to fulfilling all commitments outlined in my initial ITWORKUP post and are working toward a swift resolution. I am also pleased to inform that many customers have started to engage with the our sales team and have started to supplement with new orders we have in our warehouses and offering support pricing which is making up for these events, while also delivering the readily available stock. We also have a significant shipment arriving from our CSSI EU office with supplemental or alternative option stock and in some cases saved clients waiting even more money.

On the advice of legal counsel, we are refraining from engaging with or responding to defamatory comments, postings, or negative feedback at this time. We believe our actions under these challenging circumstances reflect our best efforts, and we anticipate that forthcoming details will provide clarity on the situation.

We advise caution regarding any future dealing or performing online transactions and/or payments, as this matter is now subject to legal proceedings, and further commentary is restricted at this stage.

A formal media statement will be released shortly and published on the ITWORKUP website (www.itworkup.co.za). Where permitted, this statement of facts will also be shared on this forum.

To our valued customers who have remained patient or expressed satisfaction with CSSI’s support, we sincerely appreciate your understanding. CSSI remains fully operational and committed to assisting you during this interim period while we determine the future of ITWORKUP. Do note that CSSI has 25 years of history and operates in 6 global locations.

Wishing you a pleasant weekend.
Sincerely,
On Behalf of ITWORKUP and CSSI

Further. May I kindly advise; we have been permitted to open another forum account to which our new ITWORKUP employee will be responding and guiding all request on this forum to a speedy resolution and feedback. This employee is an IT expert but new to the business, so if you may be supportive and if we may stick to business requests. We will affirm to each order outstanding. We expect to have all outstanding orders with the next +- 10 work days resolved, or with support of our vendors and also EU, Honk Kong, India and USA offices, new, alternative or support stock arriving, of which 2 such shipments are departing from two International branches tonight by Air.

Thank you so much

Please also do check the ORDERS Tab: https://itworkup.co.za/home/orders/

On this URL - you will find the orders we have managed to update and are ready for collection.
All other orders will be delivered. If a number on this page has been "Courier Paid" for, please advise on reply email and it will be shipped out accordingly.

Bit sad really, all this has done is ruin/further worsen the trust/reputation itworkup, CSSI and fenway has and will build up anytime soon.

Was the tech community who would have been buying from them mostly, and they know full well when to avoid anything that has a whiff of dodgyness.

First of all, let's start with the fact that you were only able to fulfill customer orders because we shipped them from Europe and did not leave our (now your) customers stranded.

When you shut down the ITworkup domain purely out of principle, all communication between our company and yours ceased and will not be restored if you are or your company the one reaching out.

Your application to one of our distributors was rejected, as they have confirmed themselves.

It is also worth mentioning that James is once again lying about his company being 25 years old. We have attached a photo clearly showing that his company was registered in 2017. Perhaps you could explain to people why you liquidated your previous company, "Computer Storage Services Africa (Pty) Ltd," and then opened "CSSI SOUTH AFRICA (PTY) LTD" in 2017? Everyone can find your lost cases against employees here:

https://www.saflii.org/za/cases/ZALAC/2017/74.html

And this is just my opinion: "As your former business partners told me, you liquidated it just to avoid paying the compensation that employees won against you, leaving them out in the cold."

These are just a few more facts about you, as your post clearly states that "CSSI has 25 years of history," which is yet another lie just to boost your reputation.

And James, can you send us at least one Google profile link or website from your offices in India, Europe, Hong Kong, California, Serbia and Lithuania? I mean, I searched extensively and found absolutely nothing—not a single mention. Can you please share these details and stop threatening everyone with your usual legal actions? I can't even find a Google Business profile in Durban.
