this give new meaning to the believe that stock markets crashes are directly connected to the appearance of comets ... :-)

before we know it, it is going to be 10/10/10
(10 October 2010) ... maybe this year is cursed!

Just like that you have made sure that the very next game will be a mauling of epic proportions. Something like a reverse jinx. You sly dog you...

Twas my aim :D

Seriously, these draws and one goal wonders are boring, I want a country to get thrashed!

I would have also voiced my discontent but I still remember the 6 goal thrashing Serbia&M got in the 2006 World Cup. Didn't want to jinx mah team.

we need a 7-0 or a 6-0 just to get some action into...Tshabalala's goal is still the best so far. I remember 2006 : Germany wacked 4 or 5 in the first game alone. eish

To be expected - I'd like to see Germany take the Aussies in cricket or rugby. Right....

Well this is obviously not cricket or rugby now is it? This is a sport that is part of a tournament that half the planet watches!

I'd like to see the Aussies engineer a better car than a BM, Merc, Audi or Porsche. Or build a better race track than the Nürburgring. Hey look, I can reason like you too

We're talking sports but I'll take a Rolls, Austin-Martin and Bentley over ahem.... those other cars. ;)

What's the price of tea in china?

Football is a major tradition in Germany while it's not in Australia. That's the price of tea. Obviously a team like Australia has no chance against a team with such strong traditions.

I'm talking about sports too, but applying your logic to something else. Those are all British btw, and I'd love to see what an Austin-Martin looks like.

Who founded Australia then? BTW Aston-Martin. What a Merc or BM look like then? :)

Let's not derail the topic.
