Hi people
So i was involved with this beautiful chic for just over 2 months now and i've decided to call it quits even though i still love her.Reason 1:She told me that she met her ex the other day,they spoke and she still feels something for him and apperently this guy was her dream man,which got my heart sore quite a bit(feeling insecure),(2) she likes finer things in life,like flashy cars, upmarket townhouse and i'm just an average guy who cannot even afford a bachelor flat, let alone a car, so you can imagine the pressure i was under, I think i'm better off without her...what do you all think?

If you really love her though fight for her...

Nothing wrong with liking the finer things in life, but if she put pressure on you to 'keep up with the Joneses', that is wrong. She should be with you for you.
 
Fighting for her involves either (1) convincing her that the finer things in life isn't everything or (2) you going out and getting those finer things.

If this is a practical impossibility then make sure you are comfortable in this relationship. If this will always an issue, then dump her.
 
think fighting for her means i should go all out to please her and that's going to be too costly...perhaps i'm better off without her...

At least for once in your life get the satisfaction of you dumping her and not she dumping you.

Ok I can already see from your post that you are not really an guy that goes out there and gets what he want, right?

If you really wanted to be with her you would not even be asking us these questions.
 
If my girlfriend told me that she had feelings for someone else I'd dump her right there and then, wouldn't even need to think about it.

i actually tend to date chics that keeps me on my toes, but i think i can't keep up with this one...

she was always moaning that her friends have well-off husbands and she's more beautiful than them so she deserved to be living large as well, what bits me is why did she accept me in the first place? ...and apparently this ex of hers is also driving nice cars, hence i felt insecure.
