Seems like I've gone and contracted the flu (some douche bag coughed on me on monday... ).

Any quick-fix methods I can employ to get better :). There's a party at my house tomorrow, and I don't wanna be the bastard that spoils every ones fun

Get beater lol.

Corenza C is awesome, but everything you do is pretty much panelbeating, not curing.

As soon as I feel flu coming on I guzzle Berocca and go to bed early for a few nights. Lots of vitamin b and C and rest. That normally helps.

Eat a raw garlic, it realy works, but you will have to stay away from every one for two days, but youll cure your flu

cell food,
oranges, corenza C
and hot as hell curry..

I also like sauna's when i am sick...

I've been coughing for over a week. I have no sympathy for you. Be sick.

Liquorice, and loads of it. I bought tons of the stuff yesterday, and it's helped a lot more than the (now empty) bottle of cough syrup has done.
Also, tea with gound/fresh ginger, ground cinnamon and cloves. Add some honey. Clears out the system and does other good things.

antihistiminics: e.g. loratadine (non-sedative), or doxylamine succinate (strong sedative);
anti-inflammatories: pseudoephedrine hcl (in sufficient doses), ibuprofen (analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory)
most cold and flu remedies have a combo of the above. pseudoephedrine is the most important ingredient for me personally.
and get a xylometazoline spray if you can't breathe.

vitamin c can't hurt, although its effect is overstated and oversold imo.
your best chance at fighting it is to sleep and let your body do what it does best.
upper respiratory tract infections are primarily spread through physical contact rather than respiratory means, so keep your hands clean and try not to touch people, food and implements directly.

If u've got high temperature, u must drink some pills. For another drink coldrex. Also, health is more important, than party.
