Commissar Ivy

Very good article! I have made peace with this reality. I am now in a much healthier zone of Zen and can hear little flies and bees fart in the distant flower beds of Ankh. I don't expect much from Commissar Ivy and therefore cannot get disappointed when she lives up to that expectation.

Its simple - the cookie jar of power is simply too delicious and profitable for those currently in power, be they govt or business, to consider letting it go, or worse, sharing it with all the people in the land. Just read this straight-talking commentary by Zukile Majova (article) to get a clearer picture - this struggle is not only limited to the ICT sector. :(

Let's take another tack at solving this problem.

Lets collect contributions to a fund which will be used to pay the minister and deputy ministers to resign their posts. Kind of like flaw crossing.

I'm sure we can get big business to contribute a few million.

All this politically buddy-buddy nonsense is screwing the public over. All this is just damaging Mbheki's reputation. I remember seeing an interview were he was saying that in India local calls are 5c/minute and that the price is still coming down. He commented that he wanted something similar for SA. It is one thing to shoot your mouth off, and totally another to sit on your @rse and do fark all:mad:

Edit: The cabinent sure needs some young blood, not some deaf lethargic granny who doesn't even understand technological concepts:rolleyes:

My only consolation, is that Poison Ivy and the rest of the gravytrain passengers [including Telkodemonopolies] have limited lifespans & that they will all burn in hell for eternity as a direct result of lining their own pockets to the detriment of all South Africans.

True, but who will the next lot of mamparas in cabinet be? It seems a near certainty that Zuma will be our next president (with support from Cosatu) so all Mbheki's buddys will get the boot:D, but I ask again, who will they be replaced with?

JZ might be too busy having a gold-plated presidential shower installed, to waste time napalming the arses of Poison Ivy & Manto.

And Jacob Zuma would probably want to keep Poison Ivy & Manto - for the same reason that Mbeki hasn't fired them i.e. the flabbergasting incompetence of Poison Ivy & Manto masks Mbeki's own incompetence.
