Every computer I bought, be it BTO from Rectron, or the Matrix Warehouse round the corner,
I either got the box the CPU came in, or they tear off the top of the box that has the serial number, batch and hologram and give that to me. No exceptions. This has been the case since, what... 2001?
I am sorry I work with electronics I know how fakes/grey product is perpetuated.
Please first give people a chance in life before you put them and they products down, everyone deserves a fair chance in life.
Do some research about tray (OEM processors), just so by the way HP, DELL, LENOVO all use OEM processors in they PC builds.
Retail shops only sell retail boxed processors.
