Do you have access to a newer iDevice? Even if just to log in using your Apple ID? Log in, download latest Youtube etc Log in on iPad2 using the same Apple ID, install Youtube etc....Got 3 iPad2 which are pretty much useless atm. Cant even run youtube.
So, jailbreaking is an option, but security issues concern me as the iPads are so old and possibly vulnerable.

IN the sense that newer versions of the software are written with 64 bit architecture in mind but you will have the option to install a compatible version of the software on your 32 bit device provided you've already installed it on your newer device and are using the same Apple ID...
