Jammers: Speedsters face arrest

I don't think they care about the money, they care about the safety of road users.

If they only cared about money they would've simply fined every person that doesn't stop BEHIND the line at a traffic light...

They'd be stinking rich in no time. Obviously that's not their mission, guys.

Sorry they do, esp with robot cameras, go over that last line that sits on the white line, poof, my ex found that out the hard way...

Also, every morning in our area, they video 4 way stops when all the moms (n dads) in our area take the kids to the 9 od schools throughout our town, there main spots are where the SUV's/bmw/merc etc are the highest consentration and the husband/wife pays no prob.

A friend of mine showed me 8 such fines hi's wife got in ONE month with the bastids using this tactic. He just laught quietly and gave me "the rolling eys look" and he just ma pays.

Somerset West -> Caledon, can be up to four traps allong the way, WORST was 3 cameras all after each other, i recon no more than 3k's apart

So are they trapping for proffit? Hell yea.

I must say though come tea time ... *poof*, they gone.

Oh, and my altimate favourite....

N2 CT -> Joberg... absolute MIDDLE OF KNOWHERE... dude sits and traps ppl ...

Edit:

Forgot to mention, when we enquired on that traffic light pic, the dude went through about 10 CD's or DVD's, but i think CD's of photo's FOR THE DAY !!

They are making a killing.... No doubt about it.

Then why does noone get fines for "not using their indicator when changing lanes" and such other traffic offenses? Because its not worth their time and money to try to stop such things, they make more with less effort from cameras/traps...

Oh but they do... and they're working towards that. The problem is that the cameras are expensive and they don't have suitably qualified people to install them, as I saw in Banbury Crossing.

They will rather sit and trap, than sort out a big traffic mess further up the road because some jackass drove over the traffic light and it's peak hour traffic. What is the motivation then? Money!!!!
