Benzema to Spurs?? Doesn't seem likely, though if he can flourish there, I think they'll be well in for a CL place.

I don't. United signed Henrik Larsson, who was 35 at the time and had never played in the EPL, and also Laurent Blanc, who while it took him 5 or 6 games to acclimatise, did a fine job of standing in to partner the departing Stam. Larsson was begged to extend his stay at United, but had other commitments.
Beckham not only knows the Premier League, but is one of the most hardworking, professional players to come out of England, which is shown by his willingness to carry on playing at that age, and keep playing on loan deals when the MLS is off-season. I'm not saying that the will be a definite success, but where's the harm in trying? Besides, Beckham's crossing ability + Crouch's head might be a good partner.

Id like to see ***a at United, but is that realistic financially?
