I got the e220 usb modem recently on package where I just took a small amount of data, but I wanted to check how good the modem is, and the data finished quickly. I went back to the vodashop to discuss my option.
He spoke adhoc or a bolt-ons, and the different sizes but didnt actually explain what those were, but I take it he didnt really know as he gave me a brochure and basically left me to figure it out on my own (and the brochure doesnt even explain the difference.)

So, here I am asking for help.
Ive finished my orginial amount of my "bundle", what can I do to get more data so that I dont pay the R2per meg? I mainly send and receive emails, so I dont need much, but if I do happen to finish what Ive got, can I add more?? What are "adhoc" and "bolt-on"? Couldnt I just add data as I need it?

HELP!!!

you need to register on the vodacom4me website first, once thats done you add a bundle, they vary in sizes so check wich one you want first.
Adhoc is basically you adding on say 500meg once off, were as bolt-on adds that amount every month to your data, make sense ?

Yes.

Ad-hoc (once off): You buy a single bundle and add it to your existing contract.

Bolt-on: (add on top) You buy a bundle (whatever size you pick) and "bolt it onto" your existing contract, typically your voice contract. This will run for 24 months but you can change the size once a month.

So if I were to add a bolt on (i.e having that extra amount every month) I should bascially just increase my original bundle?
and Adhoc.... still the use it or lose it principal? and I dont then have to cancel it, it will automatically fall away?
