Seems you don't understand the situation.

It's SAFER to fire from a helicopter than from a speeding car on the highway.

Police kept their distance and chased closely with the chopper. Highway was busy, so they couldn't do anything drastic.

There are. Saw on the news last night, the circled each shell casing with red paint at the crime scene. Am sure with all the cops at the site, son of these got kicked around a bit

But 90% of them probably arrived after everything was done hoping to get a free KFC lunch for their "hard work".

No - in SA the cops are already on the scene of a crime 80% of the time.

What is it with the plods?

Seems they are quite capable of chasing down something that moves at the speed of a taxi but if it slows down to pedestrian speed it can get away.
