Is it fair that people compare Heath's portrait of the Joker to that of Joaquin?
Your take

Tbh no. Not fair.

Not fair to compare a full length fully featured movie to a performance of a film where said character has a sub role. Different take & vision from respective actors & directors.

Both performances are exemplary for different reasons.

Having said after watching JP's performance in Joker I yearn to rewatch HL's performance. Leto's performance was OTT af & just stupid.

"I don't even view it as an origin/villian story. It's more of a psychological exploration of one man's dissapating psyche."
