Hi all

I have a problem with my website and IE

I am using Joomla 1.5 and everything works fine with firefox. But when using IE I get errors when trying to upload photos and such. Its a huge problem because anyone surfing the site using IE will get the same error.

Is there anyone that can help?

I signed up last night to your site in IE7 but couldn't find where a user uploads a pic. On a Mac at work.

That error reminds me of something similar (if not the same) thing that happened to me a couple of years back. It had to do with the way you defined/called the image if Im not mistaken. However, you have a bunch of plugins on that site running and I'm not going to wade through each of them to see where the conflict is.

FF ftw

it sucks so bad. im probably gonna have to redo the whole site from scratch. cause my friend installed most of the plugins and didnt really tell me what they all do. he is pretty lazy. damnit that sucks ass! but what do you guys think of the idea for the site?

Simplify your life and use Wordpress, it has enough functionality for your site.

Wordpress is primarily a blogging solution, but with a bit of manipulation does a good simple CMS job. A quick google search returns a few results for migrating from Joomla to WP, but you will likely need to know a bit of SQL.

Create a test.showitoff.co.za sub-domain, throw up a Wordpress installation and we'll be able to help you easier from there.
