Yeah... I guess you've never volunteered for neighbourhood watch.

Firstly, random drunks are not a neighbourhood watch. Secondly as I posted in the gated community thread a while back, I'll run or walk in any area I choose to. Even if the journalist was driving around for no reason, that's ok. People do, or used to, take Sunday drives to nowhere.

These guys are terrible examples of neighbourhood watch / weekend warriors who are often more responsible for crimes than the 'suspects' they harass.

I cannot defend a drunk racist afrikaaner but if i may i would like to defend the brandy , the brandy did not make him a violent racist , he was already a violent racist the brandy just made him lose control.

Brandy makes me a happy person.

Oh, I agree. Was just waiting for people to start trying to defend it by asking "Hmm, I wonder what the real story is..."

This is why the comments are useful because it's like a puzzle trying to work out the story and bits the 'journo' left out.
