I really don't see why people charge this much for Kreon drives. Why not just buy the correct drive and flash it yourself? I bought the correct one from ZAPS more than a year ago for under R200, then just flashed it myself.

Samsung no longer stocks the drive that can be Kreon modified locally. Import is the only option and you pay a premium ... it's not like I make much (R200 if I'm lucky)

I've recently had my xbox chipped....how do i find out what's been done...
It's was done at the fleamarket
i donwload games from news servers and burn them....they work a charm but i cannot get the xbla games to work...
i mainly use it for my kids, kinect etc...i have my own xbox where i play originals online...
what do you guys suggest LT or JTAG? think jtag is out the window since the old xbox has the kinect update on it

becareful dude. find out what firmware was loaded onto your drive if posssible. Because if MS released a new security recently that banned people from xbox live.

You can get replaces drives from Divineo for like $30 and then just 0800 them. Works great.
