What a laugh .. we as a country were well away on the road of putting our racial past behind us until this mamparra arrived on the scene and started stirring up racial issues again. I bet he's singlehandedly done more for racial disharmony in that last few years than Mandela did for harmony in all his life. And for corruption? He's part of the problem so please don't attribute the fight against it to him.

Well a lot of us said its hogwash back then, but now the ANC representative confirmed it on international television.
He made the intention of land grabs clear very similar to Zimbabwe.

Well I'd be very suprised if the ANC does not condemn what he said, guess we'll just have to wait for an official response. I hope it's bought up in the trial, that should make for interesting testimony.
20 years. It would take longer to run S.A into the ground.
Of course had somebody said to comrades like Fudzy that the ANC presidents following 'the greatest man to walk the earth' would believe in African potatoes, beetroot and showers to combat aids they would have laughed in your face.

Please by all means, give us your insight as to how our situation is anywhere similar to that in Zimbabwe? If it was anything alike the country would have a completely different name now.

1, A government of corrupt and criminal politicians. With the arrogant belief that they are incapable of losing elections and are owed rulership.
2, The "suggestion" by a few of these politicians that land will be re-appropriated with out compensation. This was done in Zims long before they actually did it.
3, Introductions of laws (or at least trying) to benefit party ambitions. Remember crossing the floor, press control, etc.
Actually quite a bit of other stuff that's similar too.

2) collapsing infrastructure, service, water, electricity
3) increasing unemployment
4) police force that is hellbent on abusing the public (wait hold on Zim has less crime than we do)
5) Nationalisation of mines - coming soon
6) farm attacks

There's actually nothing new in that list. The old government was an exact replica & perpetrated the exact same crimes. So none of that is evidence of an impending Zim. Unless you're counting from all that way back. Are you marine1?
Except maybe the nationalization rhetoric.
