Junior to Mid-Level C# full stack developers needed

I think one of the main issues is the price. Anecdotally, I was making 60k p/m after working for 3 years. This was back in 2016. My story is not at all unique.

I was making R30k per month with 4 years of experience in 2011. With inflation that's probably nearly doubled.

Add 50%to the salary and you'll start to get bites.

Well yeah but the job isn't using WCF.

Do you know what an API is? Do you know that not all APIs use XML and in fact the majority don't?

REST and GraphQL are both examples of APIs.
GraphQL is not an API it's a query language. There is no mention of what they using so I assume the worst. I just not going to entertain this thread any longer.

Just notes to OP. Encourage growth and bump the salary if cannot teach good standards.
Good Ballpack is R50k. Wish your company all the best.

GraphQL is not an API it's a query language.
Then REST isn't an API descriptor either. Stop arguing semantics.

This is all getting off topic.
Problem with post is salary for experience, lack of clarity on what/where/time.
You'll probably have better luck using something like OfferZen.

should be able to work under pressure if needed

As long as the company can pay under pressure :)

EDIT: my wife says it's good that you mention there will be pressure, but that will require danger pay.

What is wrong with my posting, cannot believe there is no developers in the market, salary an issue?

If you read through these comments, do you really want any of us? We're assholes at best.

The hybrid "2 days at office" thing always struck me as a company allowing it because of pressure and not because they want to, so there's s chance of them backtracking on that arrangement.

Im not saying it is an amazing opportunity, but I carry this quote with me through everything. There is absolutely nothing that you cant do once you set your mind to it.

This the problem with most I.T job postings. They use people that do not understand or work in said field to post the ads.

Like one Job Ad I viewed yesterday

Qualifications

NQF 4: Grade 12
OR NQF 7: 3-5 year Diploma/ Degree

Junior level.

That make zero sense.

Why do you do this. Well you ask for feedback and just personal opinion.

Personally, I read tech stack and never bother telling the list of 38 developers about it.
Why?
C#? Most likely it dinosaur .NET Framework with some db first approach. I bet 0 testing coverage.
MVC - dinosaur
MS SQL - dinosaur
API development - dinosaur
Knowledge of SDLC - Seriously.
short delivery times? I implemented over 36 of 37 projects successfully, 0 delays and always on time. So I know the drill.
Lastly you ashamed to post company name therefore it tells a lot.
You are joking right? It's a good thing you aren't interested in this job, you seem impossible to work with.

I fit that profile pretty well, and exceeded your salary around when I crossed 1 years' experience. A colleague of mine with about 4 years exp and no degree took an offer for 90k after getting multiple competing offers.
90K after 4 years of experience? Must be quite a developer. Well done really as I have never heard of such DEV salary after just 4 years.
