I've been reading up about traceroutes. See these two pages:
http://www.exit109.com/~jeremy/news/providers/traceroute.html
http://networking.ringofsaturn.com/IP/traceroutedoc.php
From what I can gather, a traceroute can indicate either:
- A firewall problem
- An Internet Service Provider problem
- A third-party problem (a problem with the router or the network running between the routers)
Is that a correct assumption?
Thanks.
