This is how it is done. Personally I don't have a problem as long as no people are killed.
Keep in mind,this is 21st century South Africa we are talking about. Considering the alternative I am sure you agree with me.

They will never disclose the amount. If the criminals knew how much those things carried they would be robbing them every day!

WTF is this +1 and wealth distribution BS you guys are on about? Yo don't fix one problem with another. These guys should be thrown in jail!
 
Oh Boy! My buddies son is an armored van driver! He has , so far, been attacked 3 times.......... has had a premonition once and managed to swap routes. He is a married guy with children who actually is a partly qualified chemical engineer. Needs 2 subjects :-)

He wants out BUT no jobs .........
THEREFORE not nice to see the wealth distribution etc...............
 
Crime is crime and they must be caught and punished with very hard sentences. We all paying for these crimes and it must stop.

Look...I'm not condoning the CIT robberies or any other armed robberies for that matter but, if we look at our country's state at the moment .....unemployment rate, crime rate, murders etc. People are becoming so desperate that in many cases the priceless gift of life is disregarded and innocent people are not only robbed but killed as well. The justice system does not apply justice anymore.

All I'm saying thank God that the guards were not killed. :) Besides CIT robberies are such common occurrences that it's not really surprising anymore.....but what is?? Watching the news is too depressing as all you see is killings, rapes, political corruption, police corruption and brutality.

Besides....who's gonna catch these guys now?? The Police?? Do you really in this day and age have confidence in our Police service?? Those guys are long gone......but at least lives were spared. That is the reality of the matter my friend.

They should've shot these bastards cos the next time these c***s do a CIT heist they'll probably end up killing someone. And they are no "Robin Hood's" either. They're not going back to the location and handing out the money amongst the poor. They are doing this for themselves to do who knows what with...fund other criminal activities, paying a crime boss, living in luxury....for the hell of it?

FCK that. Cops and security should shoot to kill in these situations.

Yeah I know it's wrong that's why I'm saying that I'm condoning it. If they were caught it would have been another crime solved but it would definitely not spell out the last CIT robbery....know what I mean?? Living in denial is not gonna cut it. We have to face reality my friend.....this is everyday life in SA. Everyday merely just going to work is risking everything but, what can we do?? All we can do is look out for one another and be vigilant. Other than that there ain't much we can do.

They don't even need guns to rob a CIT van. They just isolate if off, block it, and pour petrol over it and threaten to ignite and out pop the crew as fast as they can. Or have I been watching too many movies?

Never said I have faith in our police service although most of it's members are probably good at their job. The idjits running it and getting the promotions are a bunch of imbeciles and the organisation as a whole is not functioning as it should.

What does the state of the SAPS have to do with anything about CIT criminals needing to be shot?
