Personally I am not a CM lover, used it on my S3 back in the day but not enough features. I use most of the ambitious feature loaded roms that might not be as stable as CM but I rom because I want the features the phone doesnt come with. PA/OMEGA are quite good, the best rom I used on S3 was Resurrection Remix, all the bells and whistles.

There was a CM9.
For the i9500? Link please? Wasn't the i9500 released post ICS/CM9?

Yeah but I think the main problem here is the Samsung exynos chip in the i9500.

Sorry, we are at cross purposes, I had a stable CM9 on my S2. I assumed the CM10 you talked about was for the S3?
I am talking about any "stable" version of CM on the i9500. I dont think there is any...
The S3 did get a "stable" version (10.2). The CM11 builds for the S3 (i9300) is fairly stable though, I am running a CM11 based ROM at the moment and have very little to complain about.

Depending on if your model is supported I think Cyanogenmod installer is probably the easiest.
A quick google says serranoltexx = GT-I9195. is that the model we have here?
I dont see the S4 Mini on the CM11 supported list, only 10.2
