Telkom is at my house installing my new tel line at the moment.

Update: Physical line damaged by some construction nearby, they need to get someone to fix it next week before activate my line and DSL, so I will get a DSL router from rAge on Sunday.

My phone line and ADSL was installed just now, 512kbps. But I am still waiting for my DSL Router from Webantics......And need to get a ISP account.

I moved in to new place 2 weeks ago, I ordered a phone line on saturday the 27th and they came to install it a week later on the saturday that just past. On Monday I ordered my adsl line and I got a call yesterday to say it was all setup.

Thas a big improvement from the last time I ordered adsl, last time I had to wait 2 months for everything.

applied vir telkom line install on 6th oct 2008,

techie eta 14th oct 2008.

...there should be dsl at end of month, finally

after 50 questions... well thats what it felt like - dsl is ordered; now i await telkom's call that the switch is flicked and i can self install lol

Just got somemore awfull news. My installation date for ADSL has changed again from the 30 Jan 2009 to the 26 April 2009. I applied September 2007 for this service and since then the expected installation date has changed about 10 times.
