Just got my

That much OC on a Intel board?

yup, it does not have all the bells and whistles of the asus or giga boards but it is holding its own at the moment.

Going to try and get an ASUS board next week to see if things will be easier, also want some DDR3 1600 ram but shall see tomorrow :)

TRUE for 1366, still runs hot but apparently temps even in the 80's are fine (i am not there yet)

You are just one lucky guy. I'm just wondering how the CM V8 will cool on a i7. I think when the i5's come out, then I'll reconsider buying a new mobo ,1160 socket, and RAM.

Are they also going to have triple channel DDR3 and quad cores with HT? :p It just wouldn't be the same without that...

I have a graphic design company where rendering plays a massive part so it is a very good buy.

For gaming and messing around i think it is a bit extreme at the moment.

I dunno man, i doubt they will be much of an upgrade from the current core 2.

Hopefully AMD bring out a decent cpu and forces intel to drop pricing from feb :).

Nice one @ 4Ghz ... I can't even get close to that with my Q6600 cause I'm too scared to play with Voltages :p

So you think if you just going to use it for gaming the money would be better invested in a Core2Quad and a decent graphics card?

Running at 3.6 on a p5q deluxe, easier to get there than the 920 was originally :)

But now the 920 is owning, 4Ghz, damn. Is that on air?

Early next year I'm getting a system a "present" and trying to figure out what to get :p

Yes on air, if you getting it for free then get an i7 system, it will be worth it in a year or so :)

Then again we have no idea what the phenom ii's will do (if they worth it i shall get one in Jan as well, purely for testing purposes of course)

:p
