I can't believe you think the Golf 6 is a stunning car. Sure its decent looking but hardly an upgrade from the Golf 5 lookswise. I am a huge VW fan but very disappointed in the Golf 6. It looks more feminine than the Golf 5 so maybe its great for women but not me. I'm sticking with my Golf 5 and then moving to Audi.

I tend to agree with you on the Audi part. I think it i had to buy another car i'd opt for an Audi. They are making some BEAUTIFUL cars lately and VW just isn't cutting it for me anymore. Still love my polo but the love affair pretty much stops there for me.
 
The scirocco is a MUCH better looking car than the golf6...

BUT the money they're wanting for them?... I'd rather buy an Audi for the same money basically..

For enough money... yeah...

One in decent nick will prob be in the region of R750k... one thats been modernised will probably set you back closer to R1.5m
 
and for pure Italian passion you could also class this as one of the most beautiful cars ever made..

E-Type? More like half that or less for one in concours condition. Hell, I saw an ad for a decent XKE Series 1.5 2+2 in the Cape for R175000. A modernised one likely won't sell for any more - if modernised, they're not eligible for concours any more.

The one for R750K - looks like a super-special collector's item, but it's not going to sell for anything like that. One could likely get a better example in the UK, and still be able to ship it over here for a lot less.

ROLMAO @ the Golf 6 being rated as a bautiful car in Pooky's estimation. No mate, it looks like a rip-off. The Golf 5 is much better looking IMHO...actually the new car is a step back for VW.

The MK6 is a lot more sleeker and really better looking than the MK5...
Only problem its just a little better, but better no doubt!;)
