Just took some headache pills...

Headache came on after lunch. Thought I'd pop a few Ibuprofen. I remember opening the draw and taking out the bottle, but I don't remember how many I took or if I even took them at all. :wtf:

Should I just take three more to be sure?

Ibuprofen does not work for headaches for me. Take two or 3 more .... wont do anything. Paracetamol you should be more careful with I would say.

Ja. People that try and commit suicide with paracetamol need to be aware that it will damage your liver badly ... and will lead to a horrible death.


Not saying your friend tried to kill herself btw. Many people dont realize how much paracetamol they actually take during winter. They mix and match flu stuff not realising that each medicine they taking is almost guarenteed to contain paracetamol.

You'll need a hell of a lot more than 10 tablets(or an underlying condition) to box your liver with ibuprofen... I'd be dead years ago if 10 pain killers destroyed peoples livers.

Back story: used to get intense stomach cramps(like someone was stabbing me intense) every few months for a couple of years that the doctors couldn't diagnose and 8 codeine tablets were the only thing that could get me through it. Turns out I had Bilharzia in my intestine and whenever the parasites laid eggs my body reacted to try get them out...
