Hi,

Due to keyboard error, I stuffed up my WIN7 64-bit on my laptop, :( , have just re-installed Windows, but do not have the drivers for my K4605 modem, if I uninstall the Vodacom Dash, I loose the drivers :(

Had it working before, and for some reason, these did not make it to my back-up folder  , I am trying to get my laptop up and running for work to-morrow, and need my mobile internet connection.

This is for use with MDMA.

Thanks

Can try that, but I had just a driver package, that I installed and MDMA worked WONDERFULLY :)

Thanks

K - i thought i remember people saying if you uninstalled VMB the drivers remained?
Just run the exe off the stick & then uninstall & try.
failing that
Download that MP PC version above - & remove the "Drivers" folder & then run the "driversetup.exe"

Okay, just tried your "opcos.xml" solution, I can now connect with the Vodacom Dash installed, with my 8ta and MTN SIM cards, but still not able to use MDMA.

This solution will have to do for now, will try your solution above later.

Many, many, thanks

K- probably just need to close VMB from the Sys tray for MDMA to work

Drinking to sajunky? Salute! ;)
It was either with K3565 or (EDIT) K3570-Z. XP SP2.

+1, or install again, copy drivers folder, uninstall.

To unload from system tray go to options and select "unload from memory on exit".
Other interesting option is "do not start at startup", nice for future use. :)
Those two options solve problems with Vodafone bloatware. But perhaps is better to uninstall completely, also dotnet 2.0 which had been installed together. It will free system resources.
