As of next month vouchers probably won't be freely available anymore.. Already with the voucher cloud there was a delay to load it on their system... take advantage of the offer while stocks last. .

That being said, I would expect a major sale on Takealot once the official merger has happened, thereafter prepare for a drought as their online monopoly takes effect.

REMEMBER: they are merging in order to compete with brick & mortar companies. "Compete" does not necessarily mean that they will sell their product any cheaper than a normal store, it means that their combined buying power will reduce their purchase cost. They will also save on administration, IT, delivery costs, etc.

In the end it doesn't matter, because whether it online or brick, we chose based on price. If takealot is not competitive on price, they will lose to brick.
Let's face it, we have no Amazon equivalent here.
 
We pay too much on taxes on everything in this country. America doesn't pay taxes(port of entry) on electronic devices... here we pay too much - forgot what the markup was. Monitors etc.

I always shop around sometimes I find takealot to be cheaper than the shops with deliver,earning ebucks. R1 more won't hurt my pocket saves me the time than going physically to the shop,waiting in a long queue. Time will tell if with their combined bulk buying power prices will come down substantially. Normally daily deals is an agreement between the supplier and takealot. Sometimes to clear stock a good way to market the company. A good way to market the companies product
 
Ordered one now as well the last i checked there was one left i dont really need it but hopefully they wont give me that we out of stock crap it reminds me of game. Brilliant deals but never any stock

When I ordered it also said 1 in stock. I don't think that feature works :p
