You'll probably end up waiting for ages and eventually settle for a refund....in the mean time they will invest your monies and make a profit :p

I was about to tell you take them to the ASA if stock still showed as available. NOW THEY have a 404 page.

PLEASE SHARE any voucher you've to use on Kalahari it is the last CHANCE to use them or forfeit iti. NOT sure of store credit
i dont see how they can revoke store credit. At worst they refund you surely? It's a debt they owe to customers so then Takealot will have to honour it...

Is it confirmed that they are closing though?
or was that just talk on the forum?

I asked this here before and it was said they would continue to operate as two different brands/stores. Dunno if correct.

I was under the impression they would merge as one.. Not trade under 2 separated identities. Are orders being fulfilled by Mr Delivery one they are then you know they have merged. .. IIRC people shouldn't looose their jobs. Do you see anything on Kalahari website that says a takealot company/subsidiary...

We wait and see.

not more than 200 should lose their jobs was what the competition commission said

http://m.news24.com/fin24/Tech/News...on-approves-Kalahari-takealot-merger-20150105

“It’s an approval subject to conditions to address employment concerns,” Hardin Ratshisusu, the acting deputy commissioner for the competition commission, told Fin24.Ratshisusu said the conditions include that “potential job losses should not exceed 200” with regard to the Kalahari-takealot merger.
.

We wait and see.... Somebody did mention by March 14.. It's all speculation...

http://m.news24.com/fin24/Tech/Multimedia/Kalahari-brand-wont-exist-anymore-20150108 the brand won't exist anymore.. Kalahari brand won't be any more

I'm pretty sure I posted this already in the beginning of March:
Dear Kalahari eTraders,

As you may have heard kalahari.com is merging with takealot.com to bring our customers an even better overall online shopping experience.

Going forward the combined business will trade off of the takealot.com platform and as a result the Kalahari website will close. One of the outcomes of the site closure is the existing Kalahari eTrader program will fall away. We hereby give you notice of termination of your eTrader contract, to have effect on 1 April 2015.

For now there will not be an affiliate program on takealot.com. We will however contact you should there be opportunities to partner in the future.

We’d like to thank you for supporting the program. Below you will find more detailed information regarding this change.

However, if you still have questions feel free to contact eTrader by emailing us on [email protected].

Thank you again for your support.

Kind Regards,

The kalahari.com team
