France has some of the strictest privacy laws in the world and it is forbidden to take photos of anyone on their private property without their consent.
It means that Laurence Pieau, the editor of Closer, and the photographers involved in taking the pictures, could receive a year in prison and a maximum fine of 45,000 euros.
I don't blame the paparazzi only. They're just giving the people what they want to see.
