When you buy a new product, do you keep the box or throw it away?

I keep them for a while in case the item breaks and I need to return or exchange it.

Other: Depends on the box. I probably wouldn't keep a Smarties box but I might keep the box for a Philips Airfryer™ so I can return it if it failed to satisfy.

Keep for all my consoles/computers. You will be surprised when selling retro stuff how much extra you can get with the original box.
Other items I keep for around 3 months in case it needs to be returned.

Well you only need the box for the exchange period. After that it makes no difference I believe except for safe packaging.

Really depends what it is.

If it's something I know I'll be selling down the line then I keep the box because nothing sells a second hand product better than someone feeling it's brand new.

If it's something I know I'm keeping for it's lifetime I keep the box until warranty expires and then chuck it.
