I've also experienced the same problem over the weekend, my Neoflex started Friday evening though (I'm in Jhb, Fourways).
Once a download reaches a certain speed (it seems around 1 mbps) the line drops, so only
very light browsing was possible, but the moment you open up a big site the line drops and i have to restart my router to get that minimal functionality back.
Called the callcentre various times over the weekend and also got the most blatantly incompetent answers out of the techie...
One even tried to explain to me what they are doing : consolidating excel sheets of what areas are affected they get back on an hourly basis...
I mean FFS!!
AND guess what, the guy I spoke to told me they had only 3 tech ppl in the callcentre on Saturday afternoon!!! And this is with a connectivity crisis going on.
I resorted to using vodacom 3G of my phone to get work done that i needed to do over the weekend.
I haven't tested this morning, so i'll only know tonight that the problem has
not been resolved yet...
Pathetic if you ask me.
And to think i tried to defend Neotel on another occasion...
