Kerbal Space Program 2 announced

I've given KSP 1 a go again with some graphics and UI mods and then this.

Take Two Interactive can go f#@!ck themselves.

Yeah I do have scatterer, but will look into that list, thanks man.

According to a Bloomberg report, Haveli Investments, a private equity firm, bought Private Division from Take-Two Interactive. Haveli then created a new company with former employees of Annapurna Interactive to take over Private Division's portfolio.

So the people that built that highly performative cat game is continuing on ksp?

I watched a interview with the original creator and Matt Lowne. It’s not only a severely ambitious project but a very technical one where you have to throw away practically everything you think you know as a game dev. To the point where it’s always a passion project and not something you can dump money into and expect good results.

It seems that way, I get why they might be going that route with how they're developing it since the Scene based models of Unity and such probably doesn't work well with a simulation that's not just running in your local frame of reference but also in the background with planets and objects orbiting. I think that's also why when you accel time on KSP 1 you see the orbits essentially being reduced from ellipses to polygons. Or essentially when you jump from one ship to another for docking (I do that sometimes) it's actually a different "scene" if that makes sense.

@Moosedrool I'm surprised to see the Space kittens guys are also the guys that did Icarus amongst other things. (Icarus on sale now btw on Steam)

Anyways. I mean I honestly was looking forward to KSP 2. But I'll take KSA - especially since they'll be doing free demos first before selling they said.

It looks good. I modded the hell out of ksp1 though. Tired of this bs with take two.
