Keyboard suggestions

So my trusty 'ol Logitech G15 didn't much like the coffee I gave it, now I need a new Keyboard. Now it seems Logitech isn't really the goto brand for gaming keyboards.

I'm looking for something in the R1000 range. Some lights are nice, I don't use macros or media controls and wrist rests get in the way. I've never tried a mechanical, and I'd rather not have something that makes a racket when typing.

Razer Chroma gets bad rep as being a fanboi brand, overpriced etc.
Corsair K55 seems decent for it's price, if I can find a supplier at the moment.
Gamdias Hermes? Relatively unknown, but look ok for their price?
Cougar ? Anyone have one?

When it comes to keyboards I only have 2 requirements. I prefer my \ to be on the top row next to the backspace, and I want my F4 button as left as possible (I use the heel of my pinky to press control then index finger on F4).

But yeah, keyboards are one of those things you use a lot but don't really think about, so its hard (for some of us) to find a comfortable one.
