KFC, please bring back the double crunch meal

Had a Double crunch with Sweet Chilli. Yuck. Hard, biltong fillets. Tasted nothing like the original.

Nothing to see here folks...
 
Disgusting. I was expecting two normal sized fillets like they use on the colonel burgers, and instead I got two mutated crispy strips that were completely overcooked.

And the new sauce is revolting...weird artificial orange colour like Melrose cheese :sick:

Bought one of these in Durban now. Asked for sweet Chilli sauce. But there was a weird orange sauce at the bottom. Vrek strong. I just tasted burn

I remember the OG Double Crunch, the shhhh I just ate was just plain wrong... wrong.

I just bought one. It has some weird orange goop on it that tastes a lot like mustard.

Kinda pointless, seeing as the sweet chilli sauce was what made the double crunch back in the day. Oh well.
 
I bought one with the sweet chilly sauce last night. Was awesome. I specifically asked them for the original flavour and thats what I got.
 
Even the double crunch was small. I kind of liked the saurce although not as good as it first was. I will stick with my tower burger, more filling
 
I had a Double Crunch tonight. Bearing in mind that many in this thread claimed the default sauce to be unpleasant, I requested the sauce to be replaced with zinger sauce and sweet chilli. The burger was nothing less than delicious. I remember the old Double Crunch being a bit bigger, but I suppose inflation and the devaluing Rand has made everything a bit smaller over the years anyway. The size was acceptable - I certainly didn't think it was a small burger.

I am curious though as to what the proper sauce tastes like... Maybe I'll get someone else to order it next time and then scoop some excess sauce onto a chip or something.
