Kill-a-Watt metering unit

I am going to implement a current kw and Rand value usage on the local web as well.

An update on the local UI, now showing real time usage information along with the 10 minute history.

Edit: no one at home now, so only base line usage - bit boring :)

Saw that on my unit as well...

One small request, can we have some animated dancing girls maybe? :p

Thread necro, anyone know where I can buy one ASAP locally? Been to Game, Builders, Voltex and the local shop. Nothing.

Yip. it's not super long extension.. about 60cm i think. But it works as advertised. Is very accurate.

Work like a charm.

I even had to take it to work a couple of times... Ppl wanted to check what their hardware was using (servers and hdd banks)

Did you have any problems with the Uk adapter that came with yours?
Mine just arrived and the actual unit seems fine but the adapter is very loose and doesn't make proper contact - if I plug something that has a Uk plug into it without the adapter it works fine.

Replacement one fits fine, it was just a bad batch of adapters.
Replacement arrived next day, can highly recommend this place.

Just a tip…….

Buy the Geewiz Kill a watt direct from takealot at only 345.00 delivered as opposed to their price of 435.00 delivered.

I paid last night at 6pm , the parcel arrived today at 3pm !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Works out the box and easy for idiots like me.

Tested it on lights etc , spot on. Does what I bought it for, to help neighbours measure their tv and lights before switching on inverters.

Do you have a link for takealot, cannot find it on there?

Is it called the same thing?
