After listening to all the mud slinging I'd like to offer a solution to this whole mess. The ANC could first off apologise for all the times they've sung "Kill The Boer". They can apologise for all the times they have called boers rapists and thieves, they can show they are taking the problem seriously by reinstituting the Commandos. They can stop talking about taking land away from farmers without compensation. Then they can call Afriforum and discuss any issues that the farmers have at a fair and equitable level. Government can admit that white farmers are vital to the health of South Africa. The ANC can condemn farm murders at rallys instead of sprrading hatred.

The reason farmers have persecution complexes is because they are being persecuted and murdered. The hatred that is aimed at them is the root of the problem.

Crime is for people who don't know any other life or haven't had opportunities like the very people that post here. Few people who turn to crime as a means of financial supporthave the opportunity to change to something legitimately viable. Once they're in that system, there's very little chance of getting out.

As I recall Afriforum have been remarkably successful.

How many times has a white group of people or someone associated with them said something racist, should other 'white' groups apologise for it? Should Afriforum apologise for looking at for mainly white (afrikaner) interests instead of the nations? The ANC is a massive group so there is always going to be idiots saying stupid things, the point is to ignore them and not given them publicity.

The ANC condemn crime as a policy (although we can debate on their effectiveness which is obviously lacking), I've never seen them condone white farmer murders as a policy, so why should these murders be given a higher priority then lets say the hugely disproportionate amount of crime in townships? Why must the ANC grovel to the few white farmers when there are hundreds of thousands of other people affect by similiar issues?

Also please link me to the sources of where they take away the land from farmers without compensation?

The only thing this will achieve is further segregation. We need to work together to stop all crimes on any races, not just protect the whites.

if that is all it takes for you to justify hatred then you need a course in logic.

people who have nothing, no property or anything of value are more likely to commit crimes than people that do. who is going to commit a crime, a guy who sits around all day in his shack on a saturday or a guy who sits and watches rugby on DSTV?

situations differ, people commit different kinds of crimes and have different motives, but show me white people who have murdered black people to get something from them, or show me white people who have needed anything a black person has.

not only that, not every murder is a pre-meditated break into the house torture and rape genocide murder. some people end up in squabbles and stab the other guy, some people kill their lovers, some people want to silence the victim of the house they've just robbed. race plays a factor in this as it language, culture and consequences affect a person, but RACE and genes itself does not make criminals.

Agreed, but when faced with the situation where blacks are slowly (but surely) killing of whites in this country (for whatever reason,) it is quite natural for some white people to become nervous and make retarded statements.

I get why many more blacks target white people with crime, but there is no excuse for murder. You can steal as much as you like, and if you are poor and hungry and whites have everything, I can understand stealing from them, but why kill? No theory of socioeconomical background can justify this, unless it is about pure hate - which has little merit 20 years down the line.

I'm not saying that people should just "Get over" apartheid. Nor am I saying farmers deserves special treatment. I am saying that the ANC should stop the hate speach angainst farmers. Also, I am saying that 2% of the farmers in this country have been murdered which is utterly obscene and a serious cause for alarm. I am also saying that we still have a chance to take action against this massacre of a demographic and we should be making an effort to taking it seriously.

About your comments on morality. I do expect even poor people to know that murder is wrong. That isn't someting you need to go to private school to learn. It is a basic tennet of humanity. You insult the vast majority of poor prople who live moral lives by abdicating them from personal responsibility. Poverty is not a get-out-of-jail-free card.
